Pictures and thoughts

2015

This is my husband, cute and naughty like a child. In March 2015, he gave me one of the most special gifts ever: my first digital professional camera. For our 2nd marriage anniversary. To celebrate that we successfully survived the first two years of our marriage, we travelled to London, England. Here we go with some of the first pictures with my new camera.

A beautiful summer in Hungary

From 2013, I had been living in Germany. Obviously, I still very missed Hungary (the country I grew up), so in summer I went over to see friends and family there.

I first met my mum and sister in Budapest. This is the house where they lived in that time.

Székesfehérvár

Then, my sister and my brother-in-law took me to this city. We saw the Bory-castle first and then the city center shortly.

In youth we learn; in age we understand.

Afterwards, a short visit to the eastern part of Hungary, on my own.

A foreigner is a friend I have yet to meet.

Budapest

Although I went to university here in this beautiful city, it was still wonderful see the city again with the eyes of a turist.

In the dark times will there also be singing? Yes, there will also be singing. About the dark times.

Bertold Brecht

And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

A short trip to France in autumn

There are two things that men should never weary of, goodness and humility; we get none too much of them in this rough world among cold, proud people…

Robert L. Stevenson

People who fight, can lose. People who do not fight have already lost.

Better is the end of a matter than its beginning. Better to be patient than to be haughty in spirit.

And at last, two more pictures about BP in winter.
