Above some photos of one of the most beautiful provinces in China: Yunnan. I especially enjoyed Dali and Lijiang.
Left here is the library building of Zhejiang Normal University where studied Chinese. I loved watching the mountains behind the campus and the changing fog around them.
Below some visual memories of Beijing and The Great Wall.

A picture about the colorful boats and unique mountains of Yangshuo, Guangxi.
Truth is always exciting. Speak it, then. Life is dull without it.

And at last but not least, a wonderful memory of my old friend and teacher. She made the bad times easier to survive and the good times harder to forget. Thank you!

China in 2016
Phew. So many things changed in so few years. Biggest change of course was that I got married. This is why you always see a Chinese guy on my pictures. I had two Chinese-style wedding celebrations (two of my most horrible events of my life, haha – I guess it’s just a curse being an introvert European woman and then being part of China and Chinese lifestyle) in 2014, in 2015 my parents-in-law came to Europe to visit us. So 2016, it was our turn to visit them in China.
First, we had a short stay in Tianjin. We visited my husband’s old university. Here we go.

Yes, chickens on the campus. Welcome to China, haha. You will see, it is quite normal to have the most modern architecture and technologies in the big cities, but then to see archaic lifestyle and habits as well, just right at the next corner. But that’s alright, since “modern” is not equal to “good”. Old things and values can be so much better than new things and values. So, should we believe in science and ‘modern’ thoughts? Or should we follow some old wise men/traditions that we believe they were/are?
There is a way that seems right to a man, But in the end it leads to death.

So hard to be a human, isn’t it. Our brain is fascinating, so many smart thoughts and stupid emotions at the same time. Or wait, were our emotions right and our thoughts stupid? And then trying to make the right decisions. Especially big decisions, like marriage, where to live, what to study, which work to choose etc.
Oh sorry for the chatter. But there is still a connection to China. Chinese people also think about these things and are also looking for the answers to these important questions. Like every human. And every human should put the Designer of our earth and mankind into consideration when thinking about these things. 加油!:)
Now some pictures from Inner Mongolia.

The horse on the first picture is my soulmate, hehe. I often look like her, tired of life. Oh how I loved riding horses, working with them. Every horse has a different character and personality. Every horse is unique, just as every human. And interestingly, horses – just like humans!- would always have a good reaction to a loving attitude. The worst, horrible tempered horses would become the greatest partners after a while of a loving riding style. Especially missing those miracoulous metamorphoses. And the different horse mentalities.
You may deal with things without love; you may cut down trees, make fricks, hammer iron without love, but you cannot deal with men without it.
